My name is Monica Hagen. I am a photographer in the Grand Rapids, MI area. I am the proud mother of an adorable little man, Diego. He was my inspiration in pursuing my love of photography. I am also the wife to a wonderful and supportive husband. We met while working for a global company as an industrial engineer, in different operation and supply chain roles in Mexico. Once we had our son, we moved to North Carolina and lived there for a couple of years.
When Diego was born, I wanted to document every second of his life with a DSLR my husband had bought me years before. I realized that I was finally having the time to pursue my passion. We have lived in Tennessee, Texas, Florida, back in TN and now relocated to the Grand Rapids, MI area. I have met amazing families and friends along the way and have had an opportunity to keep capturing their memories through the years.
You can find me RUNNING! And being a youth soccer team manager, a PTO VP, a Guardian ad Litem, volunteering in our church or traveling!! I love to help others, giving is definitely my love language.
I love capturing spontaneous moments with children and families but also capture the energy of an athlete or team. My rule is to make the time fun and sweet, while capturing smiles that you'll cherish for a lifetime!
